The Directed Electronics 8504D is a digital shock, tilt, and temperature sensor designed for DS4 and DS4+ remote start and security systems. This advanced add-on security sensor adds an extra layer of vehicle protection by detecting impacts, vibration, vehicle tilt, and temperature changes. Ideal for protecting vehicles against break-ins, towing, wheel theft, and unauthorized movement, the 8504D delivers fully adjustable sensitivity settings for customized security performance.

The built-in digital tilt sensor can detect vehicle movement from lifting or towing attempts with adjustable tilt sensitivity from 1–3 degrees. The shock sensor features 15 levels of sensitivity adjustment and supports both Warn Away and Full Trigger alerts for enhanced security response. Additionally, the integrated temperature sensor supports automatic remote start activation during extremely hot or cold weather conditions.
