How It Works

Modern vehicles equipped with immobilizer systems require a coded transponder signal from the factory key before allowing the engine to start. During remote start operation, the 556UXL temporarily transmits the proper transponder signal so the vehicle can start remotely. Once the vehicle is entered and the key is inserted normally, the factory immobilizer resumes standard operation.
