ACIMA is not a loan or credit card

With an Acima lease, you aren't buying today. Acima owns the leased item until you make all the lease renewal payments. If you do not use an early purchase option, you may pay more than double the retail price. You always have the option to purchase early and own it for less. Estimate costs.

You always have the flexibility of our "early purchase option." When you're ready, pay a lump sum and own immediately. The sooner you do, the more you save!

ACIMA's Transparency with retailers

We rely on our retailers to share information about Acima as an alternative to consumer credit options. Even though lease-to-own may cost more than credit offers available to you, our low payments and unmatched flexibility may be the right fit for your life and your budget. We sometimes incentivize our host retailers to increase awareness of our value proposition. Ask your salesperson about all of your credit and leasing options.

Under the American First Finance lease to own program, they will purchase the merchandise you are wanting, directly from Slangin' Sound and will lease it to you, in accordance with your agreement.  American First Finance retains ownership of the products, but will release it to you upon election of one of the 3 options listed below.​

1. The Early Buyout Option*

Within the Early Buyout Option, you will be responsible for the cash price, including sales tax, an Early Buyout Option fee, any applicable fees such as Nonsufficient Funds (NSF) fees, late fees, and Liability Damage Waiver fees (LDW), for consumers that have opted for that waiver at the beginning for their lease. Leasing fees are discounted when you successfully exercise the Early Buyout Option.​ 

​2. The Early Purchase Option*

The Early Purchase Option is only available if you were unable to take advantage of the Early Buyout Option. However, it must be utilized before the end of your agreement term.

It's designed to still provide the opportunity to save you money on leasing fees.

3. Pay over the entire term of the agreement*​

If you elect to make your monthly payments over the entire term, per your agreement with American First Finance, once paid in full, the merchandise becomes yours.
