The Sony XS-GS1631C is Sony’s flagship GS Series 3-way component speaker system and was designed for customers wanting a major sound-quality upgrade over traditional 2-way components. It combines a 6.5-inch woofer, dedicated 3.5-inch midrange, and 1-inch soft dome tweeter to create a wider soundstage, improved vocal clarity, and better imaging than most standard component sets.

One of the biggest advantages of the XS-GS1631C is the dedicated midrange driver. Most 2-way systems force vocals and instruments through the woofer, but the 3-way layout allows vocals to sound more realistic and detailed while improving staging across the dash.
