The Metra 70-2054 is a factory amplifier bypass harness engineered for select 1997–2009 GM vehicles equipped with factory amplified audio systems. Designed to simplify aftermarket radio installations, this harness bypasses the OEM amplifier while providing power and speaker connections directly to the new aftermarket radio.

The harness plugs directly into the factory radio connectors and factory amplifier connections without requiring cutting into the original vehicle wiring. The color-coded aftermarket wiring follows standard EIA wiring colors for easier installation and cleaner integration.
