Features

Overview: SSV Works SS-BS10 custom molded subwoofer enclosure is designed to mount a 10" sub in the open space behind the driver or passenger seat in Polaris Slingshot UTVs, with no cutting or modifications to the vehicle. The 100% fiberglass enclosure material offers the best sound quality and bass response, while the black textured coating is designed to match the Polaris interior. The enclosure can also be painted to match other color schemes as well.

Design: The SS-BS10 enclosure features a square opening for direct mounting of a Kicker Solobaric L7 subwoofer, such as the L7S104 or the L7S102, as well as an installation plate for installing a round subwoofer such as the SSV Works 10M (speakers sold separately). Mounting brackets specifically designed to install the sub enclosure securely behind the rear seats of a Polaris Slingshot are provided along with all the mounting hardware necessary for installation. A cosmetic face plate is also included for use with either style of subwoofer.

Wiring: A 42" wire harness is provided that has bare-ends for attaching to the sub driver, while the other end includes a proprietary 4-pin connector that attaches directly to the output harness from one of SSV's overhead sound systems for UTVs (sold separately). If using the sub enclosure with a stand-alone amplifier (sold separately), the 4-pin connector will need to be cut off and hardwired to the amp. The wire harness comes pre-installed through a waterproof cover-plate that installs over the opening in the bottom of the enclosure, with 32" of wire on the inside of the enclosure and 10" of wire, including connector, on the outside of the cover-plate.
